Lindsey Arrington - Assistant Principal

Hello Silverdale families!

I am so excited to be part of the Silverdale Elementary community. I grew up in a small town in Oklahoma, so Silverdale feels just like home! My journey as an educator has taken me all across the country thanks to my husband’s service in the Marine Corps. Each stop along the way has shaped me as both a teacher and a leader, and I am grateful that North Carolina now feels like home—I love it here and plan on staying!

I spent 7 years teaching Kindergarten, followed by 7 years as a 4th grade Math and Science teacher. After that, I served as Lead MTSS Interventionist for 2 years, supporting students and teachers in reaching their full potential. This is now my 2nd year as an Assistant Principal, and I feel incredibly fortunate to continue learning and growing alongside such a dedicated staff, amazing students, and supportive families.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, golfing, and being outside as much as possible. I look forward to an amazing year of learning, teamwork, and building lasting connections here at Silverdale!
