Amanda Meeks - Assistant Principal

Mrs. Amanda Meeks

My name is Amanda Meeks and I am thrilled to join the SDE family this school year as your assistant principal. I am from Nash County, NC and attended UNCW and ECU. My family and I moved here in 2012 due to my husband's promotion; he works in the construction industry. We have four amazing kids, two fur pups, and two cats. I enjoy the outdoors and sports. Before becoming an administrator, I taught at the middle and high school levels. I have worked with Onslow County schools since 2012, first as a high school English teacher and then as an AP at Blue Creek Elementary and Dixon High School.  I look forward to working with the students, families, and staff of SDE so that I may contribute to this already phenomenal school and community.
